After graduating law school, she was a law clerk for the Honorable Morris Sheppard Arnold, United States Court of Appeal for the Eighth Circuit.
After her clerkship, she was an associate attorney with a premier corporate firm in Little Rock — Jack, Lyon and Jones. While she was there, she worked in the areas of securities and bonds, health care law, employment law (including co-authoring the Arkansas Employment Law Handbook), and general corporate and contract law.
Since 2004, she's been practicing law in Coeur
d’Alene where she represents family law cases, including divorce, custody, guardianships, and adoption.
With her northern Idaho roots three generations deep, Kacey has a large extended family in the area. She is a graduate of Leadership Coeur d’Alene

Kacey serves frequently as a guardian ad litem and represents children involved in the Court system. She also helps families seeking guardianships and adoptions of children. As an adoptive parent, she feels very passionate about adoption cases. She also volunteers to help victims of domestic violence get protection orders.
Kacey has a "child centered" approach to custody cases and enjoys the challenges of helping families their difficult times. She will take a personal interest in you and your family.
